2022 Thursford Christmas Spectacular

A party of 19 travelled to Norfolk for a three-day visit (on 8th to 01th November) to include a visit to the 2022 Thusford Christmas Spectacular Show.

After a delayed start for the coach due to the pickup taxis being late due to heavy traffic in Derby we travelled to Great Yarmouth with a coffee break at Rutland Water and a lunch break in Downham Market. Our hotel was the Comfort Inn and was considered to be adequate with very friendly and helpful staff by all of our party.

Following a leisurely breakfast on the Wednesday and time for a short stroll on the prom we travelled to Thursford for the afternoon performance of the Christmas Spectacular Show which met all expectations. We returned to the hotel in time for a Christmas evening meal.

Our return to Derby was on Thursday with a coffee break at King Lynn and a lunch break at the Springfield Shopping Village.

Unfortunately our return to Derby was spoilt by some of the party having to wait for over 30 minutes for their taxis.

Overall this was an excellent trip enjoyed by all the party marred by the taxi problems.
