2022 Autumn Holiday

The 2022 autumn holiday was 5-day coach trip to titled "East Yorkshire Highlights".
Those going were:-

Keith Ryan

DAY 1: (Thursday 22nd Sept)

We joined our tour coach in Derby where we met our coach driver Lee and then proceeded to Long Eaton to collect the remainder of the coach party and our tour manager Tony Laver.
On our way to Yorkshire we had a lunch break in Lincoln.

Following the lunch break we travelled to the Battle of Brittan Flight Visitors Centre for a very informative guided tour.

The last part of the journey was to our hotel the Best Western Humber View via the Humber bridge

DAY 2: (Friday 23nd Sept)

With a civilized start of 10am allowing for a relaxing breakfast we travelled to Hull for sightseeing

Proceeding on from Hull we travelled to Beverley where we were supposed to have a guided tour of the Minster but no guide was available.

We returned to the hotel in time for dinner.

DAY 3: (Saturday 2th Sept)

With another civilized start at 10am we proceeded to Bridlington for our morning visit.

Our afternoon visit was to Scarborough which was surprisingly busy for the time of year.

DAY 4: (Sunday 25th Sept)

A slightley earlier start of 9.30 am was required for our visit to York starting with the National Railway Museum.

Moving on from the National Railway Museum we proceeded to the city where some of us went on a very pleasant river cruise and then we returned to the hotel for our last night.

DAY 5: (Monday 26th Sept)

We returned to Derby via the Humber Bridge.
